Privacy Policy

What personal data Adsup.ai collects from account holders, what our crawler collects from public web pages, and the choices you have.

Last updated: 2026-11-07

This policy covers two different things: the data of people who use Adsup.ai (account holders and visitors to adsup.ai), and the ads our crawler records on public web pages.

Data about our users

When you create an account or use the product we collect:

  • Account details: your name, email address, password hash, and sign-in provider if you use one.
  • Billing records: plan, orders and invoices. Card and wallet details are handled by the payment provider (for example Stripe, Alipay or WeChat Pay); we never see or store full card numbers.
  • Usage data: searches, saved items, API and credit usage, and on-demand crawl requests, so we can run the service, enforce plan limits and prevent abuse.
  • Technical data: IP address, browser and device information and essential cookies needed to keep you signed in. Analytics cookies are only set with your consent where the law requires it.

We use this data to provide and secure the service, bill you, answer support requests and improve the product. We do not sell personal data.

Data our crawler collects

Our crawler loads public web pages in a browser and records the advertising those pages display: the creative (an image, video or element screenshot), its text, the networks that served it, the click URL, redirects and the landing page, plus when and where it was seen.

  • We never log in, fill in forms or submit personal data to the sites we visit.
  • Ads can contain names or images of people (for example a spokesperson). We store them as part of the advertisement, as published by the advertiser.
  • Site owners can ask us to stop crawling their domain. Opted-out domains are not crawled and get no public pages. See the methodology page.

Sharing

We share personal data only with service providers that run parts of the service for us (hosting, storage, email, payments, error monitoring), under contracts that limit their use of it, and when the law requires it.

Retention and security

Account data is kept while your account is active and deleted or anonymised within a reasonable period after you close it, except billing records we must keep by law. Data is encrypted in transit, access is restricted to staff who need it, and secrets are stored encrypted.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you can access, correct, export or delete your personal data and object to certain processing. Most of this is available in your account settings; for anything else, open a support ticket from your account.

Changes

We will post updates here and change the date above. Material changes are announced in the product or by email.
